1. Overview: Privacy-First & Local Processing

FrameClip is designed as a "local-only" utility. We believe that your creative content belongs to you. To ensure maximum privacy and security, all video processing and frame extraction occur entirely on your device.

• No Cloud Uploads: Your videos and extracted images are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
• No Internet Requirement: The App does not require an internet connection to perform its core functions.

2. Information Collection and Use

Personal Data

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address. There is no account registration required to use the App.

Usage Data & Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs or tracking tools. We do not collect data about how you use the App, your device model, or your crash logs.

3. Device Permissions

To provide its core services, the App requires access to certain device features:

• Photo Library (Read & Write)
  • Read Access: Required to allow you to browse and select videos from your library for frame extraction.
  • Write Access: Required to save your extracted frames directly back to your Photo Library.
• Local Storage: The App saves a history of your extractions in its own internal "sandbox" folder. This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App or manually clear the history within the App settings.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services, social media plugins, or advertising networks.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, we are in full compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

6. Security

We value your trust in providing us access to your media. Since all data stays on your device, the security of your information is protected by your iOS/iPadOS device's native security features (such as FaceID, TouchID, and Passcode).

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
